Who are you?

Wraith has been my online name since I first needed one on the net, and I don't see myself changing it any time soon. It's my user name on all forums and games I'm involved with (but occasionally with minor adjustments where necessary - it's a fairly common name after all) and too many people know me as Wraith for me to be able to change even if I wanted too.

What do you do?

On THN I'm just a member. I don't do much apart from hang around the forums, adding my opinions where I feel like it, and play a variety of games with the other members.

Outside THN I'm an accountant. Less said about that the better.

When did you join THN?

September 2005. I got roped into joining by gringotsgoblin so I could join in with the BF2 team on Enemy Down. After a lucky break in my first match, coupled with showing the ability to follow orders and deal with Piacular's shouting I got a regular spot in the squad and have been part of THN ever since.

What games do you enjoy?

I play a variety of games, but the ones I play most at the moment are Battlefield 2, X3 Reunion and Guild Wars.

Pet Peeves

There's really too many for a comprehensive list, so here's the highlights.

1. Adverts for personal injury lawyers and debt management agencies. As far as I'm concerned both types of organisation are soulless vultures preying on the misfortune of others.

2. Bad Drivers.

3. 1337 speak, txt speak (except when texting) and similar "languages". Txt speak developed due to the limitations on characters in a text message and that I can handle. Outside of that there is no reason whatsoever to pervert the English language the way 1337 speak and txt speak do.

4. People who blame games/films/music/whatever else for their kids going off the rails. As far as I'm concerned, what type of person kids grow up into is down to the sum total of their childhood and their base personality. Bearing that in mind I'd agree that various forms of media do have an effect, but to nowhere near the amount that bad parenting, bad freinds and a general instability do.
