One day in 1983 an amazing thing happened: I WAS BORN.

It was then that my life as a gamer and forumite really began to take shape.

Skip a few years to the present day and I am now known as "thatbloke." Why? Well, my previous two handles of mt_boffin and dccrazy were annoying me - mt_boffin was my first one (made from my IRL initials and the fact that I was a bit of a boffin) and annoyed the hell ouut of me until I switched to dccrazy. dccrazy was made up of the fact that I had a Dreamcast and loved it. (I still do, in fact).

Then the Dreamcast bubble burst and I actually got a PC that I could call my own partway through college. This was when the fun started. I decided that I didn't like dccrazy and that I rather liked the idea that I was "that bloke that did that thing that time" and hence thatbloke was born.

And now I'm here filling in a random webpage with nonsense :)

I now have a degree in Computer Science from the University of Southampton and I program in-flight entertainment software for a living. I am happy to help with computer issues if you are having some as I am known as a bit of a problem solver...

As for the games, Battlefield 2142 and World of Warcraft are my favourite games at the moment. Those and a chinese card game called The Big Two for which I have a small C++ version of the game that I can play.
